Oh Christmas Tree

December 6th, we had a playdate at Sam's house. He had a real tree! Neither of the boys seemed too terribly interested in it, however, even though it had lots of exciting things hanging off of it~just right for grabbing. They were much more drawn to all of Sam's toys, especially the ones with flashing lights and sounds. Eileen and I laughed because both boys knew which toys were theirs, and would immediately reach for whatever it was that the other one had in his hands. Guess they are still a bit young for real sharing. :)

Later we walked to a fun toy shop in Multnomah Village, and then had hot drinks and pastries at a local coffee shop. It was the perfect end to a chilly afternoon stroll.

  1. Hello Amy,
I found your blog several months back when I was searching for reviews from people who had used OHSU vs. ORM. I really enjoyed reading your blog, especially since I'm from Portland too. Thank you for sharing your IVF experience with others! By the way, we're planning to start IVF at OHSU in a few months!
I was wondering if you still have your old blog? I can't find it again and was wondering if you could post a link to it? Thank you! I'm so glad you have a precious baby boy!

  2. Hi Eva!

Thanks so much for your kind words about my baby blog. After Matthew was born, I figured I should start a new one, so I made the old one a private blog instead. But maybe people would still like to read it . . . so I have put it back into circulation! :)

Here's the web address to the old blog:
    http://gettingtobaby.blogspot.com/

For some reason I can't get it to make an actual hyperlink that you can click on, but you should be able to find it by copying and pasting into your browser.

That is exciting that you are going to start IVF at OHSU! Best, best, BEST of luck to you! If you ever want to talk or ask me any questions, feel free. My gmail address is best: amysue74@gmail.com

Thank you . . . I am so grateful every day for Matthew. As you can probably tell from this blog, I can't stop taking pictures of him. :) Your day will come too, Eva. Keep the faith.
